batman: begins, was the best batman ever. i did an essay on joseph Campbell's "the hero's quest cycle on this film for and english class. i watched it many time and it held up. it still does.

the animation was awsome the story was simple but strong. jack black is awsome, they got the character to express well. the jokes were funny and sharp.

pRE-HELLBOY II :The Golden Army

I'm really excited for this Sequel. The first was alright, but now Guillermo Del Toro has a bigger budget, he better deliver. I been watching the online interview and extra material on the Hellboy II, Del Toro says "it is a more complicated film than the first but they will finish 10 days earlier than the first one".

It was not what I expected. The jokes where predictable and unoriginal.

i shouldn't have watched the movie clip on itunes.

Steve Carell is a good actor, then he didn't have good lines to work with.

It just seemed that Carrel is just reusing the same style from "the office" and "40 years old virgin". He did so much better in "little miss sunshine". I guess he has already been type cast.

He is funnier when he is more subtle. his character seemed insincere and he was trying to be comical.

They had good comic actors and they almost had no lines. even the two nerd (the one from heros and the other guy) ,the ones that gives Careall's character the swiss army knife, had more line that Alan Arkin and David Koechner which are better comic actors. Bill Murray had such a small part when he could have made the movie better. I like Anne Hathaway, but they could have got a less famous actress, save their money for more lines for Bill Murray or Alan Arkin. They didn't need to have that whole "love interst" for Maxell Smart. I don't remember Agent 99 actually getting with Maxell Smart in the original TV Series . If the formula worked for that many years why mess with it?
